Your part

Your own child's record, the same day it is written, and nobody else's. Nothing to do but read it, and ask if something looks wrong.

Your child's school records the good your child does: a teacher sees an act of goodness, writes it down in a sentence, and your child has ten points. With the school's invitation, you see that record the same day it is written. You see your own child's record and nobody else's, nothing about any child is published, and nobody is ranked.

How it works, in short

  • A teacher sees an act of goodness and writes it down: what happened, in the teacher's words. Ten points, and a leaf on the class tree.
  • Once a week the teacher confirms a peaceful week for every child who harmed no one. Five points.
  • If a child does harm, the head of the school records a small deduction after the complaint has been checked, the counselor walks the way back with the child, and the points come back when the child has made it right. You see the deduction and the repair, nothing more.
  • Every entry is final. Nothing is edited; a mistake is corrected by a new entry that says so.

Your three pages

A family's view of their child's record: points, acts of goodness, and each entry in the teacher's words
What you see: Maya's record, in her teacher's words.

What never happens

Your child never signs in. Your child's name never appears on any public page. No other family sees your child. Nothing here is a grade, and there is no list with a first and a last.
