Recognition and certificates
This month's list for assembly, the badges, and a certificate for every child with a code anyone can check.
Recognition is the reward. Three things carry it: the Friday circle in every class, the month's list read at assembly, and a certificate the family keeps.
This month
This month lists every child recognized this month, by class and by name, with the kinds of goodness they were seen in. It prints for assembly. Nobody is ranked. See This month's recognition.

Badges
A badge is earned in one kind of goodness: a Leaf at three acts, a Flower at ten, a Fruit at twenty-five. It appears on the child's record, on the certificate, in the circle and on the classroom screen the week it is reached. Nobody gives one.
The certificate
Open a child's page and Certificate. The app issues a Goodness Record for the period: the acts of goodness and peaceful weeks, the points, the kinds of goodness, the badges held, and a twelve-character code.

Print the certificate gives the paper. The code is registered the moment the certificate is opened, so anyone with the paper can check it.
Checking a code
Anyone can type the code at goodnessfactor.com/verify/certificate and see what the school issued it with: the school, the period, the counts and the badges, never the name. If the paper says something else, it was altered after it was issued. The same check is at the bottom of the certificate page for staff.
When to print
At the end of a semester or a school year, for every child; or for one child when a family asks. A certificate printed before October 2026 was not registered for checking: open it again and print it again.
The review board
The school's own board answers appeals and concerns within fourteen days, decides whether an entry stands, and holds the only key to a member's right to enter.
The record's integrity
Every entry chained to the one before it, a nightly fingerprint timestamped where nobody can touch it, and a check you can run any time.
