For families
What you see and what you never see
The plain list of what a family can see, what the school keeps private, and what is never published.
You see
- Your own child's record: every act of goodness, the teacher's words, the date, the points.
- Every peaceful week confirmed for your child.
- A deduction, the kind it was, and the repair when it is made: what was undone and what good was done.
- That a way back is open with the counselor.
- Your child's certificate, when the school prints it, with a code you can check at goodnessfactor.com/verify/certificate.
You never see
- Any other child's record, name or points.
- A ranking of any kind. There is none.
- The counselor's notes from the way back, or the note the head wrote with a deduction.
- Which teacher wrote an entry. The record says "seen by the class teacher"; the school knows who.
Nobody sees
- Your child's name on any public page. The school's public verification page shows fingerprints and dates, never a child, a teacher or an act. A certificate's code shows counts, never a name.
- Your child's record outside the school: not other families, not other schools.
Your own data
Your email address is used for the invitation and to sign in, and for nothing else. The school can withdraw your link at any time, and you can ask it to. When your child leaves the school, the record closes to you: your page says so and shows no entries. The entries stay in the school's record as written, because nothing is ever deleted from it.
The classroom screen
In your child's classroom there may be a screen with the class tree: leaves, first names, the act of the week, badges. It shows no points, no totals and no deductions, and it is the same for every child in the class.
