The focus of the week

The act the lessons point at this week. It leads the record screen and the classroom screen.

Each week the school, or each class, picks one act to point at: "This week we notice kind words." The record screen marks it This week, the classroom screen shows it, and the circle reads it back on Friday.

Set it for your class

On the class page, This week:

  1. The act to focus on: choose one from the list.
  2. In your words (optional): the line the class and the screen will see.
  3. Set this week's focus.

If the head has set a focus for the whole school, the class page shows it, and you can set a different one for your class if the lessons call for it.

What it changes

Nothing about the points. An act of goodness is ten points whether or not it is the focus. The focus is a teaching aid: it puts one act in front of the children for a week so they can practice it and be seen doing it.
