The review board
The school's own board answers appeals and concerns within fourteen days, decides whether an entry stands, and holds the only key to a member's right to enter.
The review board is the head of the school and the staff the head names. It answers every appeal, concern and flag within fourteen days. Where it has two or more members, one proposes and another confirms, so no single person can reverse an entry or withdraw a right. A reversal is a new entry, never an edit.
Who sits on it
Under Settings, Review board, tick the staff who sit with you and Save the board. The head is always on it, named or not, so a one-person school still has a board.

What comes before it
- Appeals: someone believes an entry is wrong. Staff raise one with "Question this entry"; a family raises one from their child's record.
- Concerns: anything about how the program is run or a worry about fairness, from staff, from a family, or from anyone through the school's public page.
- Flags: once a day the app looks at the previous day for patterns and opens a case with the numbers and no judgment: many entries in a day, most entries for one child, the same act repeated, late-night entries.

A case, step by step

- Start the review. The case moves to under review.
- Add a note for the board as you look into it. Notes are seen by the board alone.
- Record the decision: upheld, not upheld, or no action needed, with why in the board's words.
- For an appeal, choose whether to reverse the entry, and in a serious case of tampering whether to withdraw the right to enter of the person who made it.
- With two or more members, the decision is a proposal until another member confirms it. The other members get one email that a proposal is waiting.
The person who raised the case gets the decision and its reasons by email. An anonymous opener stays "Anonymous" to everyone, the head included.
Reversals
A reversal is a new entry with the opposite points. The original stays exactly as written, marked reversed, and no longer counts toward leaves, badges, the circle or the certificate. If an act was recorded for the wrong child, the board reverses it and the teacher records it again for the right one.
The right to enter
Withdrawing a member's right to enter stops their recording, peaceful weeks, deductions and restorations; reading continues. Only a later board decision restores it. Both are written into the record as entries of their own. It is the record's answer to Mohanji's rule that a teacher who tampers with the record loses their credits and does not enter again.
The public form
Anyone can write to your board without an account at goodnessfactor.com/verify/your-school/concern. It arrives as "Public form", and only the board sees how to reach the person, if they said.
